One of the suggestions from the success bloggers make content that is useful and needed by blog readers. These suggestions are readily accepted, but relatively easy to put into practice. The main obstacle is that many bloggers who do not know the needs of readers of his blog.

If you are in this condition, here are 7 ways to identify what is needed to your blog readers. I am optimistic that the seven in this way can help you in determining the topic of the article so that your posts are useful and indeed necessary to make your blog readers.

1. Make Polls/Poling

Poling is a simple way to map the readers of your blog. This mapping can use the principle of 5 W + 1 H.

Who? Who they are: whether a beginner blogger, part time blogger, full time bloggers, and so forth.

What? What topic of their blog?

When? Since when do they blogging? Since when they read your blog, and so forth.

Why? Why are they blogging?

Where? Where they live.

How? How they can visit your blog: results blogwalking or coming from search engines.

Let’s say your poll results show that the majority of your blog readers are beginner blogger. Therefore, create content to meet the needs of beginners.

2. Asked readers

Ask your blog readers about what they want from your blog. Are tips on SEO, affiliate, and so forth.

How to ask either through post or contact them via email. The results of these questions could be used as material to make the content.

3. Provide a contact form

Your blog readers might want to ask you personally. Therefore, please provide your contact page on the blog. In addition to personal, contact page is also one way to facilitate the reader’s questions are not appropriate topics.
Reader questions via the contact form you can use to make posts. The goal, questions and solutions are known also by other readers.

4. View comments

In the comments, sometimes blog readers asking more about a topic you discussed. This question is need for them, so you can easily identify them.

5. Analysis of keywords from search engines

Your blog readers may come from search engine. Then, analyze what keywords they type in that they come to your blog. Specify some keywords that are relevant to your blog topic, then develop a writing / other articles so that visitors who come someday via those keywords get additional information. In other words, to enrich their knowledge.

How do I know these keywords? The most accurate way is to use keywords in Google Analytics facilities.

6. Analysis of the popular article/posts

Popular posts/article may be used to identify the most popular blog readers needs. Logically, they read the posts are most popular because they need the information. So, analyze your most popular posts:

What type of that posts? Does topic these posts?

Enrich your post with similar topic

For example, your most popular posts are wordpress tips. This suggests that visitors need and want information about wordpress tips. Therefore, more wordpress tips.

7. Self Problem

Problems themselves can also identify the needs of readers. For example, I have a problem a few months knows that is not able to install Google Analytics. I also look for and find a solution. I am sharing the solution in the form of tutorial articles, so useful for readers who do not know how to install Google Analytics.
